I required surgery for Dupuytren’s contracture, a condition that had been progressively worsening. After carrying out some research, I came across the reviews for Mr Naqui and his team. Following a series of consultations and treatment, I am very pleased to say that the five-star reviews are fully justified.

I received excellent care and attention throughout from Mr Naqui and would have no hesitation in recommending his services.

I would also like to mention Donna, Mr Naqui’s secretary, who was always available and extremely helpful whenever I needed advice. Finally, I must highlight the post-operative physiotherapy I received from Esther, who is a very kind and caring individual. In fact, I was almost sorry that I only required a few sessions to make a full recovery.

I recently underwent a second surgery to remove metalwork following a radius fracture, and I couldn’t be more pleased with the care I received throughout the entire process.

After my first operation, Mr Naqui didn’t simply discharge me and leave me to recover on my own. He continued to monitor my progress closely, arranging all necessary tests and addressing any concerns I had about the metalwork. Once my bones had healed, we made the decision to proceed with removal. In my case it was necessary.

The second surgery went exceptionally well, and the level of treatment and care I received at Alexandra Hospital was, as always, outstanding. The staff fantastic—professional, supportive, and attentive. It takes a team, and Mr Naqui’s team continues to be the top of the class.
Donna, who makes things happen – organises everything – she is always so responsive and supportive. Nick, the anaesthesiologist, who took the time to understand my anxieties and made sure I felt completely at ease before the procedure. Esther, who I can’t thank enough for pushing me to recover, but is also a very good listener overall. Her expertise and support have been invaluable once again.
And Mr Naqui – excellent job, I love my hand!
I am so impressed with how well my scar has healed—despite being warned it might be more noticeable due to overlapping the previous incision, it is still very neat. Most importantly, my hand feels amazing.

After breaking my finger, I needed to find a surgeon who would ensure the best possible outcome, in terms of function, motion and flexibility. I was delighted to find that Mr Naqui was approved by my insurers.
From my first appointment, through follow ups and physiotherapy, I found Mr Naqui and team approachable and excellent to deal with. A major part of my treatment was physiotherapy. Esther, who works closely with Mr Naqui, was excellent. She played a huge part in the successful outcome of my treatment and eventual return to work.

In September I discovered that I had weakness in the fingers on my right hand, I was unable to wash my face properly, apply makeup and the ring finger and little finger were constantly open. I could not play my saxophone properly either. After extensive tests Mr Naqui confirmed a very large ganglion cyst that had probably been growing for years and was resting on the nerve. He removed it as a matter of urgency , if left too long the nerve would not have recovered.
It is now 6 weeks post operative, my fingers have closed and I am performing daily tasks with no issues.Best thing of all is I am able to play my saxophone. The scar has healed quickly.
I cannot praise Mr Naqui and his team enough.From the first meeting he explained everything in detail so patiently and professionally and I instantly felt confident that I had chosen the right person to perform the operation.
I must give praise to Donna whose help has been invaluable and was always at the other end of the phone .

I recently had hand surgery for Dupuytren’s Contracture with Mr Naqui and I am very happy with the outcome. Each step of the process, from the initial consultation, pre/post surgery and the excellent physiotherapy was a model of ‘Person Centred Care’. I felt involved and confident I had made the right choice to go ahead with this surgical procedure.

Mr Naqui is the best in his field. Anything hand related, he’s your man. He is patient, quick and confident as a diagnostician and looks to achieve best outcomes every time. He has taken care of several issues with my hands over the years, each time, efficiently and with utmost skill.

The surgery on my hand went smoothly not only throughout the operation itself but also the after care and physio provided by the team around Mr Naqui. I now have full use of my hand with very minor scarring which Mr Naqui is confident will heal further over the next twelve months. A great experience and result all round.

What a journey, I have been on coping with Symptoms of Osteoarthritis. I know I’ve had the debilitating disease since the 80s. It was recently, that new painful symptoms started to occur. I was in so much pain that I decided I needed help quickly as NHS waiting lists were too long. It took me a while to find the right person and finally I found him! I have been a day case twice in the last six months, having been treated under local anaesthetic. I am more than happy with the service that I have received and he has alleviated my pain through his treatment. Mr. Naqui has been very professional, courteous and meticulous during my procedures. l felt at ease with his knowledge of my symptoms and he was very informative during the procedures, he also informed me about the aftercare I would receive. Mr. Naqui is a very busy consultant and sees so many patients every day. He must find it a challenge to build up a relationship with each patient. He has a lovely smile, which shines through!
